Course goals
The course will provide students with theoretical knowledge on advanced topics in brain and cognition research (Cognitive Neuroscience)
Course content:
The course is comprised of a series of frontal lectures on the following topics:
- History of Cognitive Neuroscience
- Review of human research methodologies
- Main principles and mechanisms of the brain function (e.g. localization)
- External (sensory) information processing will be discussed on an example of face processing
- Internal and spontaneous information processing
